Girls on the Run is a physical activity-based, positive youth development program for girls in grades 3 through 8. The program empowers girls to be joyful, healthy, and confident through a curriculum that includes community service and running.
This non-profit was needing event branding and promotion for their Annual Sneaker Soirée, an evening of fun, connection, and celebration that helps provide scholarships and resources so every girl can participate.

Make a Mark is a 12-hour design and development marathon benefitting local humanitarian causes. It was established to reimagine the conventional hackathon structure, channeling its energy and excitement toward the development of creative communication materials for nonprofit organizations.

The 12-hour hackathon started with research of what style we wanted this 2020 event to take on.
We ended up deciding to take it bake to the 80's.

The logo for the event focused on the different types of shoes that were worn in the 80's. We wanted this to feel like it was a whole era coming back to life.
Other assets included social media graphics, event posters, pins, and a promotional video.
